Very poor, bedding clean but bathroom was grubby. We ordered a bottle of wine which they charged £30 for, the glasses they supplied were very dirty but the reception staff had disappeared so we had to wash them, I then had to share my room with my friend as the lights in her room kept going on and off and making crackling noises , we still could not find reception staff and the phone was off the hook so could not inform them of this. We decided not to stay for the second night there because of above reasons but they still insisted we pay for 3 rooms and for 2 nights , they had also added extra to the bill for one of the rooms saying it was an upgrade and insisted we pay cash. Would definitely not recommend this place, it’s also quite a way out if town and at the moment there are a lot of road works so quite noisy from the lorries going past.

We booked two nights here as a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. 14yrs and 11yrs. This place is an old wedding venue not a regular hotel. We were quite confused when we checked in …
