Do not rely on the pictures for room expectations or lay out. No elevator to the 4th floor. Floors creaky all night, loud halls made it difficult to sleep with other loud guests coming and going all night. No sound proofing so light and sound though doors all night long.

We had an issue finding a room that was available but Gwen was extremely motivated to find me a room. The room was comfortable with a nice sized bath. Perfect for a single traveler. I also had breakfast which was delicious. The grounds are beautifully kept and great for a morning walk.

Very clean, well maintained, bed was nice and comfortable, but not a lot to do, rooms were small, not much storage, kind of cold feeling, 1st floor felt like a dungeon, parking and registration were a haul, not sure we would stay there again.

Nice place to stay. I will again. When I got to my room, there wasn't any towels. It was taken care of immediately and I got a complementary breakfast out it which was also fantastic. Thanks Blackburn. See you again

Short visit but the property was well maintained. Front desk staff very friendly. Rooms were clean - some larger than other but all amenities needed were available.

We use this as a halfway stop between Maine and Florida twice a year. They are pet friendly and it’s just a mile off route 81 with good gas prices near the highway. The rooms are large with old wood floors, high ceilings and beautiful grounds around the hotel (which, I believe, used to be a sanitarium for people convalescing from tuberculosis). The beds and pillows are comfortable. They recently added a breakfast area though we haven’t tried it yet. The in room coffee only supplied a packet of powdered creamer and various sugar and sugar substitutes so we opted to get coffee locally instead.
