玛拉本湖度假村(Lake Maraboon Holiday Village)

We may have been given the perfect spot in the caravan park overlooking the Dam. Just beautiful. Amenities are fabulous. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They have a bar and offer pizzas! Just a perfect location, well run and well equipped Just love it!!

What an absolute disappointment. Unless you have a boat and need to stay this close, do yourself a favour and stay in emerald. Place is a joke. Manager is rude and abrupt. South African customer service skills shine through. Place is dry and dirty. Zero big 4 facilities, but has the Big4 price tag.

We (one couple) stayed on Tues 4-June-24, for 1 night, Cabin. Our (dated) Cabin was neat, tidy and clean. Off-street safe parking. Management was helpful - Thank you. The park is quiet (no main highways or train lines, which is our main reason for selecting this location). Red-Claws (fresh-water yabbie crayfish) is the main interest. Sunset was great. We should have stayed another night or two. Emerald town is nearby (25 min drive). Yes, recommended for a stay.

Our third visit to this beautiful park. Glen and his team are just so friendly. The maintenance of the park faultless. If you are into boating, this is the place for you. We left with our freezer full of the largest redclaw we have ever seen, Special thanks to Craig and Deb who work tirelessly for the park. Thoroughly recommend this park.

The campsite is excellent, the staff is great and the amenities are good. Great atmosphere on the site with he other campers. Good service with hiring a Kayak brought to the waterfront with life vest and what else was needed. Being from the Netherlands we won't be back soon but if we do we will come by again. We stayed in one of the cabins. Pretty basic, but clean, quiet and well maintained. Customer service at the park was terrific! The lake was very pretty, especially at sunset. It’s a reasonable distance south from Emerald township, so best to bring your own supplies.
