富兰克林旅馆(Franklin Inn)

New plp in town running the place as it should be ran. I enjoyed my stay this time, will be coming back now that it’s owned by someone new. I had 0 problems this time!

First off, the AC was pouring water all over the floor near the bed. The toilet barely flushed, the bed was hard as a rock, and don't forget about all the shady looking people in the parking lot and staying there. We booked the room for 2 nights and only stayed one.

If you want to die of mold exposure, book the Franklin Inn. The sheets come prepped and ready with mold along with pillows. Staff was nice tho and helped me get a refund .

Okay long story short.. I been going to Carrabelle for about 5 years now. Going at least 10 times out the year. Well I just took my gf and dog for a couple days there. Listen Carefully.. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE- I’ve ever had with this hotel because someone new is owning it. We left from GA around 4:00 arrived at 8:30 pm. Upon arrival, the front desk door was locked which is unacceptable for a hotel that should have someone there 24/7. On top of that we called for over 1 hour straight and couldn’t get anybody. Mind you we’re ready to put our stuff up and lay down for a little bit couldn’t. Finally around 9:45pm we were able to get ahold of someone. We then had to wait another 15-20 mins for someone to come check us in and give us keys. The reason why nobody was there was “I had to get my daughter some food” nothing against that but you don’t leave a hotel especially after plp have paid their hard earned money. So we ended up going inside the front office to get checked in, the lady at the front desk kept telling me for 10 mins straight she couldn’t find my reservation & after 10-15 mins passed she finally said “I found you, you did a reservation way earlier that’s why I couldn’t find you. So fast forward we get our keys & was told “the beds might not be made”, we go around to our rooms and before even getting to the door you can see the beds are not made thru the window. I then went back n told the plp and they said give them 10-15 mins. It’s more.. NEVER AGAIN!

Really enjoyed the interior, new granite, new LVP, new tile and paint. It was priced really well and we enjoyed being right next to the water

Our room was nice and clean, the staff was fantastic and super sweet. Loved them, the king sized bed was comfortable and the ac made the room nice and comfy. However, the shower was an accident waiting to happen. The floor of the shower was slippery so I threw a towel down for traction, there was nowhere to place shampoo or soap except on the toilet, there were no bars to hold onto. My husband is disabled so this made taking a shower extremely difficult. Fix this and we would love to come back the next time we’re in Carrabelle.
