花园城市汽车旅馆(Garden City Motor Inn)

It was great to arrive at our destination after driving the strong winds & heavy rain during our drive from Allora to Toowoomba. Thankfully we missed the large hail, vision on the road was restricted to low speed. Able to get some cover at Woolworths shopping centre at Drayton & was able to phone our motel to advise that we would be late & our host Lyn gave me some directions.

Charming room even if aging and in need of repairs. Cosy and well place for our overnight stay. Thank you

Medical Escapade Spacious room, great bed and amenities. Close to corner shops for that must have snack. Easy to find on main road. Welcoming facade and staff.

I'll start with the good. Staff very friendly. Check in very easy. Got upgraded to a 2bdr room at check in. Bed is comfortable. Fresh milk provided and room serviced each day. The cons. Noise from road traffic. Lights outside window don't turn off until after 10pm. Room very old and dated. Bathroom walls/tiling very unclean. There was mould in grout and boogers/grot/etc on the tiles in the shower and around the bathroom sink. And finally, I booked through Trivago and used 'pool' as a filter. Images on the site showed a pool. When we arrived there was a dirt patch where a pool used to be. Kids were devestated! If we had known, we would have gone elsewhere. Overall, it's ok for a quick overnight stay if travelling through.

The staff were fantastic
