含羞草别墅住宿加早餐旅馆(Mimosa Villa)

Wow we had such a fabulous time at Mimosa villa. Stephen was a super host and was there to greet us with tea and cake. This villa is set in the heart of the jungle with a few neighbours, a mix of locals and those who have moved to Sri Lanka from around the world. We loved watching the monkeys in the trees and listening to the constant jungle choir! A 10 minute walk away is the most beautiful beach, white sand and a few bars. Ahangama is a 10 min tuk tuk away. Vibrant and rapidly expanding with food from around the world. Anura is the housekeeper, cook and tuk tuk taxi guy. He is super friendly and cannot do enough for anyone. His breakfast fruit platters are delicious and he also made us a yummy dinner one evening, all different dishes beautifully made. My fav thing was going out in the tuk tuk! We would absolutely recommend a stay here!!

What can I say, we back to Sri Lanka mainly for Villa Mimosa's atmosphere, and her host. We feel at Mimosa like at home, safe and calm. We love this garden, outdoor shower, Anura's breakfast, wonderful evenings with Staphen, and more and more. ♥️ House is clean and cozy, there is everything what you need - comfortable kitchen, hot water, comfortable bad, hammock for relax, silent. We love Mimosa a lot.

We are really enjoying our stay. Villa is situated among high trees and we feel as if we were living in Jungle. But all modern convenience are available. running water, showers, drinking water ( boilers), a fridge and so on. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to the beach. We have lovely evenings with the host Stephen. He is very friendly and sociable. And he speaks English so slowly and clearly. You can understand him easily even if you are not from English speaking countries. And his help Anura ( a local man) is very nice. We are very obliged to both of them. 🙏

Staying at Mimosa Villa with Steve as host and Anura as caretaker has been fabulous. Life at Mimosa is easy, restful and harmonious. If you feel like socializing there are several seating areas where you can get to know other guests and share experiences. Steve will do his best to make your stay memorable and he will share a good story or two from his Sri Lankan experiences if you invite him to. With a 20 minute walk to Ahangama centre for shopping and then TukTuk home or the 10 minute walk to the beach or surf spots, the location in the rain forest is perfect. Still far enough away from railways and traffic. We will be happy to revisit Mimosa Villa.
