(Hotel Faraglione)

Terrible customer service. Mrs Mirella Replied to emails without even a greeting, and even though she realised I had booked the wrong room on August 9th, she only told me the day before I was due to arrive, making me incur a penalty. I mistakenly put 3 people instead of 4 in the booking and told her more than a week before my arrival date. She didn’t reply then, so I assumed that maybe the room could cater for 4, but instead she emailed the day before and said that the room couldn’t accomodate 4 people. At that point, I wasn’t in the free cancellation period, and she refused to let me have a free cancellation. We also went to the cafe of the hotel and we found the staff to be unorganised, rude and dismissive. It’s a shame as it’s a good location but I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even if you’re on a low budget!

Great Bar by the beach. They gave me a free bag of ice when I returned from climbing the volcano. Also I slipped when descending and they gave me some bandaid plasters
