Nice hotel and beautiful location but very very busy, difficult to get in and out. Front desk not very good for both check in and check out. Got there at 4:30 after travelling for quite a few hours and room not ready, my friend asked for us to be upgraded to a suite said the charge was $400 extra so we accepted. When we went to check out the charge was $300 extra per night. Another issue, on my booking I was supposed to get a $75 credit on food and beverage per day but refused to give it to us. We complained and they did drop the charge for the room. Front desk was either inexperienced or not managed properly.

We had such a poor experience at Pendry DC that we chose to email the General Manager directly, as we generally prefer not to air concerns publicly. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week without even an acknowledgment that our message was received. That lack of response speaks volumes. In hospitality, especially at this level, accountability and follow-through are non-negotiable. The experience itself was disappointing, but the absence of any response afterward is what ultimately stands out—and not in a good way.

I booked this hotel for my wife as a birthday staycation so she could relax and take a break from her daily responsibilities. The staff, spa, and accommodations were truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, her experience was overshadowed by a fire alarm that went off in the middle of the night and continued for what felt like nearly an hour before it was resolved. The disruption really impacted what was meant to be a peaceful and restorative getaway.

While the rooms were on the smaller side which I must admit was a little concerning. Once getting in the room it made sense and flowed flawlessly everything from the view to the bed was amazing the staff helped me with my special request with ease and made everything so easy that alone made the trip 10x better
